Job description

) At East Cobb Center, we prioritize the well-being of both our residents and our team members. We foster a familial environment, extending our care to everyone within our facility.
We're seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic activities assistant to lead daily planned activities for our residents. If you're someone who values creativity, enjoys music and the arts, and can organize engaging activities, we want to hear from you. In this role, you'll receive guidance and support from our Activitvities Assistant/Aide.
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Activity Director to implement the activities program.
  • Following the current activities schedule as directed.
  • Providing one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents.
  • Assisting residents with distributing and engaging in craft activities.
  • Completing necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
  • Identifying and addressing residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.

Requirements:
  • A warm and caring personality.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Preferred, but not required, experience working with the elderly population.
