Job Overview:
FOCUSPOINT is seeking an experienced Accountant for one of our healthcare clients.

This role is ideal for a candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in supporting a full-scope accounting department. The ideal candidate brings strong Excel and A/P skills and is comfortable handling both routine tasks and special projects under minimal supervision.

Shift

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Occasional weekend hours during month-end close (limited)

Reports To: Controller

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and General Ledger activities

  • Perform month-end closing activities

  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations

  • Maintain Fixed Asset Accounting System

  • Support daily cash deposits and other day-to-day accounting operations

  • Execute special projects as directed by the CFO and Controller

  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (minimum requirement: Associate’s)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong A/P experience required

  • Knowledge of GAAP

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
