Compensation: $21 to $22 hourly, depending on experience, plus opportunities for bonuses.
 
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 
 

Job Description:

As a Housekeeper, your role will be vital to the upkeep of the appearance of common areas in the apartment community. You will be expected to maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of the interior and occasionally the exterior of the apartment community, ensuring a welcoming impression for residents, guests, and team members on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally clean and maintain interior of apartment community including vacant and model apartments, leasing office, and other common areas which could include exterior facilities.
  • Complete assigned cleaning tasks for resident move-ins and move-outs.
  • Identify and utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a high standard of overall safety and cleanliness while performing duties.
  • Communicate with Community Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and team members regarding property upkeep.
  • Present an appearance appropriate to the image of the company.
  • Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications:

 Professional Experience:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or general cleaning is preferred.

Education:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Accurately perform basic mathematical functions.

Computer Skills:

  • Beginner computer and Internet knowledge required.
  • Ability to use on-site resident management software preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Physical demands may include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The team member will be regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and reach using feet, legs, back, arms and hands. The team member may occasionally be required to climb. Specific vision requirements include the ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The team member will be required to work at a personal computer. Must possess the ability to detect auditory and/or visual alarms and be available to work extended/flexible hours and weekends as needed.
