We're looking for a 2027 Software Engineering Summer Intern to join our software engineering team and gain hands-on experience developing software solutions that support real space missions. As a Software Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced technical staff who will provide mentorship and guidance throughout your internship. You'll contribute to projects involving spacecraft software, engineering tools, testing infrastructure, and software applications that support mission development and operations. This internship is ideal for students who are passionate about software development, aerospace technology, and solving complex technical challenges. About Advanced Space Advanced Space exists to enable the sustainable exploration, development, and settlement of space through innovative software, mission services, and technology solutions. Contribute to projects such as: * Onboard spacecraft software * Machine learning applications * 3D visualization tools * Testing infrastructure * Flight software development tools Apply programming skills to real engineering challenges. Use modern programming languages and software development practices to design, test, and improve software solutions. Collaborate across engineering teams. Work with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and support mission-focused projects. Share your work and findings. Present project results through technical reports, presentations, and discussions with members of the software engineering team.
