While electro-mechanical technicians focus on PLCs and electronics, our Machine Millwrights are the plant’s mechanical strength. In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical integrity, installation, and optimization of all production equipment and tooling that moves our products through the manufacturing process.

• Base Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience).

• Flexible Schedule Options:

  • Option A (Night Weekend): 11:00 PM – 11:00 AM Friday & Saturday, plus 1–2 flexible shifts during the week.

  • Option B (Day Weekend): 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM Saturday & Sunday, plus 1–2 flexible shifts during the week.

• Premium Pay & Differentials:

  • Weekend Shifts: Receive an automatic 8.3% shift differential.

  • Sundays: Earn Double-Pay for all hours worked on Sunday.

  • Weekday Flexibility: Choose any shift you prefer for your weekday hours!

    • 2nd Shift Differential: 10%

    • 3rd Shift Differential: 15%

(While not all required, experience in the following areas is highly valued)

• MA Journeyman Electrician or Electrician License

• MA 2nd Class Fireman License / HVAC & Plumbing knowledge

• Universal Refrigeration License

• Class A or B CDL

• Ability to pass a Leadership Assessment

Responsibilities

You will install, maintain, rebuild, and repair high-speed production machines and equipment involving complex mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.

• 50% - Advanced Mechanical Repair & Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and rebuild manual or automatic mechanical assemblies, inclusive of fluid power and mechanical components.

• 20% - Preventive Maintenance (PM): Utilize Mainsaver (CMMS) to execute daily, weekly, monthly, and annual PM schedules to maximize OEE and plant uptime.

• 20% - Diagnostics & Collaboration: Isolate and distinguish the root cause of equipment failures using blueprints, schematics, and direct communication with operators, engineers, and vendors.

• 10% - Fabrication & Machining: Perform precision welding, plumbing, and machining to modify or create critical replacement parts and guards.

• Precision Alignment: Experience installing and aligning shafts, motors, and gearboxes within tight tolerances (up to 0.001 inches) to eliminate vibration.

• Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Deep-level overhaul of high-pressure systems, including rebuilding pumps, replacing seals, and overhauling core-molding valves.

• Power Transmission: In-depth knowledge of gears, sprockets, chains, belts, and proper tensioning techniques.
