About Boston Legacy FC
Boston Legacy FC (the "Club") is Boston's new professional women's soccer team, set to begin play in the National Women's Soccer League in 2026. We are dedicated to building a championship-caliber organization on and off the pitch. We are passionate about advancing women's sports, investing in our local community, and redefining the future of professional soccer. Street Team
Location: Boston, MA
Reports to: Manager of Fan Experience
Job: Non-Exempt, Part-time
The Role:
Boston Legacy FC is building a dynamic Street Team to represent the spirit of our club both on and off the field. Our goal is to create a vibrant, loyal, and inclusive fan community that reflects the diversity of Boston. Our Street Team Members will share their passion for women's sports, help foster meaningful connections with fans, and champion our mission of celebrating, empowering, and uniting an intersectional community of supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent and promote the Club with integrity at local and regional events (e.g., watch parties, festivals, sporting events, and community engagements), understanding that you may be the first interaction people have with Boston Legacy FC.
  • Contribute to game day and event fan engagement opportunities, including fan zones, gate giveaways, matchday promotions, and activations, while creating a fun, welcoming, and interactive environment for fans.
  • Proactively engage with current and prospective fans to build authentic connections and drive lead generation, with a strong emphasis on capturing high-quality contact information to grow the club's fan database.
  • Learn, study, and effectively promote ticketing packages, special offers, and gameday information to drive attendance and engagement.
  • Organize and manage marketing assets, equipment, and inventory at events, assisting with setup, breakdown, and proper care of Club materials.
  • Provide detailed post-event recaps and insights to the reporting manager.
  • Adhere to schedules and scheduling protocols. Which includes working a minimum of 2 shifts per month.

What We're Looking For:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Possess an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic personality with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
  • Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and professionalism while working collaboratively or independently.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills and adaptability, embracing ambiguity in event situations.
  • Must have availability to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends, and between 10-15 hours per week.
  • Must own or have consistent access to a personal vehicle and be able to travel regularly to activations within the city of Boston and across the New England region.
  • Perform special projects and assignments as needed, understanding that responsibilities may evolve over time.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of soccer, particularly the NWSL, and a genuine passion for women's sports and sports culture.
  • Strong understanding of Boston's diverse neighborhoods and local sports environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, Cape Verdean Creole, Mandarin, Cantonese, Portuguese) are a plus.
  • A passion for advancing equity and inclusion through sports.

Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to sit, use hands to handle objects, and engage in tasks requiring fine motor skills.
  • Frequently required to talk, hear, and occasionally reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The pay range for this role is:
