Job description

XTech is seeking to hire an Electrical Engineer to join and be an integral part of a specialized team producing high voltage equipment for generating downhole plasma discharges. You would be involved in the research, design, and development of specialized mobile high-voltage electrical components and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and assist in the installation of high-voltage components and systems
  • Assess and modify existing power distribution systems
  • Troubleshoot relay and data system designs
  • Generate and document equipment function testing
  • Ensure reliable operation of equipment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with electrical diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of relay design standards
  • Excellent root cause analysis skills
  • Familiarity with high-voltage concepts and / or systems
