Job description

Our client helps families and businesses recover after fire, flood, or other disasters - often during some of the most stressful moments theyโ€™ll face. As a growing organization for contents restoration services, they specialize in textile, electronics, art, and general contents cleaning, along with professional pack-outs and pack-backs.

The company is expanding and seeking a Business Development Manager who believes strong relationships matter - especially when the work involves peopleโ€™s homes, businesses, and personal belongings.

This role is about more than generating referrals. Itโ€™s about building trust with insurance professionals, contractors, and partners who rely on us to show up, follow through, and care. If youโ€™re motivated by relationship-driven sales and want to represent a company that takes pride in doing the right thing, this is an opportunity to make meaningful impact while growing a territory.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager owns and grows the Houston market and surrounding territory. This role is fully focused on business development and relationship stewardship, supported by centralized operations, estimating, and leadership.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with insurance adjusters, mitigation firms, general contractors, property managers, and local plumbers
  • Grow presence across Houston and surrounding areas by developing new referral sources and strengthening existing relationships through consistent, high-touch engagement
  • Maintain a strong in-market presence through partner visits, on-site engagement at active claims when appropriate, and coordination of meetings, lunches, and industry events
  • Support key accounts with thoughtful follow-up to encourage repeat business

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: 50-70k
  • Commission plan - uncapped
  • Clear path to six-figure on-target earnings as the territory grows
  • Company vehicle or car allowance

What Success Looks Like

  • Strong market activity within the first 30โ€“60 days
  • Measurable revenue impact by 90 days
  • Long-term opportunity to grow and scale a high-potential territory with meaningful upside

Preferred Background

  • Restoration industry business development experience or
  • Insurance adjuster or estimator experience looking to pivot into sales
  • Existing local relationships are a strong plus, but not required
