Scheduling & Availability Requirements

Pool staff are required to:

  • Work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month
  • Work at least two (2) weekend shifts per month
  • Work at least two (2) weekday shifts per month
  • Work a minimum of two (2) recognized holidays per calendar year

Pool employees must maintain flexibility and reliability in meeting scheduling requirements while providing exceptional resident care and supporting departmental staffing needs.

Are you a compassionate caregiver who enjoys making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors? St. Camillus is seeking a dedicated Residential Aide to provide exceptional support and personalized care to residents in our Assisted Living community.

Position Summary

As a Residential Aide, you will assist residents with daily living activities, medication administration support, health-related services, meal assistance, and social engagement. This role is essential in promoting each resident's dignity, independence, safety, and overall well-being while fostering a warm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene, and toileting.
  • Support residents with medication administration under nurse supervision and accurately document services provided.
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition, weight, nutrition, and overall well-being.
  • Assist with meals, dining services, hydration, and nutritional support.
  • Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and apartment organization tasks.
  • Respond promptly to resident calls and safety needs.
  • Encourage and assist residents in recreational, social, and community activities.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation and complete required reports.
  • Collaborate with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Current Wisconsin Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) or similar senior living setting preferred.
  • Current CBRF certifications or willingness to obtain certification:
    • Standard Precautions
    • Fire Safety
    • First Aid
    • Medication Administration
  • Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to resident-centered care and confidentiality.
