Job description

 

The Shanna & Bryan Glazer JCC Event Center is seeking to immediately hire servers.  

Events at the Shanna & Bryan Glazer JCC will range from social occasions, including weddings and bar/bat mitzvahs, to corporate meetings and community events.

Servers will be responsible for setting tables, serving food, beverage service, breaking down and cleaning after an event. Servers should have a positive and friendly attitude as they are working the events. This position will report to the Banquet Captain of the event.   

Position Requirements   

2-3 years serving experience preferred   

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills   

Professional appearance and attitude   

Physical Requirements   

Walking, sitting and standing for long periods of time   

Be able to walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach for extended periods of time   

Lift and carry 25 pounds
