Job Summary:This position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable freight transport in a commercial vehicle across various states. You will ensure timely delivery while following all company and regulatory safety standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.Key responsibilities:Safety Compliance: Operating commercial vehicles on highways and local roads in compliance with all traffic laws, company policy, and DOT regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.Pre-trip and post-trip inspections: Conducting thorough checks of the truck's mechanical condition, lights, tires, and cargo securing mechanisms before and after each trip.Loading and unloading cargo: Securing cargo using appropriate methods.
