Job Title: Project Manager

Grade: 23

Salary: $83,260 - $94,803

The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to coordinate communication and planning between Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) and OMH for the Innovations in Behavioral Health CMS Innovations Center Cooperative Agreement. This effort is led by the NYS Department of Health in cooperation with OMH and OASAS.

The incumbent in this position will manage OMH and OASAS interagency planning and communications for the IBH Model, track progress, and report to the senior project manager under overall guidance of DOH project director. The incumbent of this position will assist in collecting information for and writing required annual and semi-annual reports. They will work closely with program and IT staff on the development of systems to support the IBH care delivery framework.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with project managers across the three state agencies.
  • Participate in planning and implementation for the convening structure, funding resources, and VBP arrangements.
  • Support development of IBH care delivery framework.
  • Support reporting of state in-kind staffing hours.
  • Assist development and writing of required semi-annual
  • Contribute to the development of annual budget requests.
  • Delivering reporting requirements to the senior project manager.
  • Work closely with IT staff to develop systems supporting IBH care delivery framework.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Six years of project management/policy implementation experience OR
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of project management/policy implementation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to demonstrate project management skills
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced multi-priority environment
  • Able to show general knowledge of: Medicaid managed care, budgeting, and behavioral health and addiction programs
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
  • Able to support management of large complex projects and facilitate multi-departmental, agency and external stakeholder workgroups.
