Job description

IT & Website Manager

Combined Role — Information Technology Manager + Website Manager

Location: Hybrid / North Scottsdale, AZ area

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year DOE

Position Overview

This is a dual-function role covering two distinct but related disciplines: Information Technology Manager and Website Manager. Both functions are performed by one person without any direct reports. The sections below are split so each function's duties and requirements are easy to review independently, with a shared section at the end for qualifications that apply to both. We are a small Organization with a 21+ year track record for growth and although the role is dual responsibilities, we have several third-party companies who provide technical support and system development whereby the selected candidate would manage and be a liaison for the project.


Our organization provides continuing education for licensed mental health professionals. The company maintains an AMS, an LMS, an online bookstore, a diagnostic reporting system, and a set of microsites for our various audiences.


Role 1: Information Technology Manager

Responsible for the company's technology infrastructure day to day, including hardware, software, security, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities

•      Provide technical support to staff and troubleshoot computer problems

•      Install, configure, and update company software and hardware

•      Evaluate existing systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement

•      Implement and monitor security measures, including certificates and compliance requirements

•      Review system diagnostics and assess functionality and efficiency

•      Manage network security, cloud identity management, and endpoint protection

•      Oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions

•      Anticipate and report on costs for replacing or updating equipment

•      Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and Google Workspace

•      Support both Microsoft and Apple operating systems across the company

Required Qualifications

•      3-5 years of IT management experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

•      Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and networking

•      Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills

•      Keen attention to detail and strong organizational/time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

•      Background in network security, cloud identity management, and endpoint protection

•      Familiarity with HIPAA and behavioral health data privacy requirements

•      Experience with Google Workspace and multi-OS environments (Windows + macOS)

•      Stay informed on AI advancements and industry best practices


Role 2: Website Manager

Responsible for the company's web presence end to end, including design, development, content, and performance across all sites and microsites.

Key Responsibilities

•      Project-manage the full web development lifecycle: design, development, and deployment

•      Maintain and enhance web properties, including wireframes, sitemaps, and page components

•      Establish site architecture, navigation, and content strategy across all web properties

•      Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and set measurable goals for web projects

•      Ensure brand consistency in visual style and editorial quality across all sites

•      Oversee hosting agreements and coordinate with external web vendors as needed

•      Optimize sites for search engines, mobile-first design, and page-load speed

•      Drive compliance with ADA, GDPR, and PCI standards across all web platforms

•      Create, edit, and caption instructional videos using Camtasia

•      Mentor and train team members on the AMS, LMS, and WordPress

Required Qualifications

•      3-5 years of website management/development experience, or a Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field

•      Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

•      Strong understanding of brand stewardship — visual guidelines and content strategy

•      Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

•      UX/UI principles, responsive and adaptive design

•      Previous experience at a creative or digital agency

•      Familiarity with REST APIs, SQL databases, PHP, or serverless architecture

•      Knowledge of ASP.NET
