Software Engineer (Frontend Web Applications Developer)
Front End Applications Developer will develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise / departmental IT systems. This position requires expertise in developing the front end of web applications in a team environment where customer focus, cooperation, and communication are the norm. Must have excellent reverse engineering skills, work independently, and interact well with others.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members as well as independently to develop, test, deploy, and sustain various web applications utilizing Angular (or similar JavaScript framework)
  • Interact with REST endpoints to perform CRUD operations, format and output received data into UI components (tables, charts, graphs, dialogs, etc.)
  • Conduct program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Develop front end layout of websites and applications according to wireframes and/or mockups

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years' experience with Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with web development using two or more of the following languages: Angular, React, Vue.js, Bootstrap, Node.js
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, Typescript, HTML and CSS
  • Familiarity using an IDE to code (i.e Visual Studio Code)
  • Experience with interacting in a Linux environment
  • Strong ability to work well with others as well as independently
  • Strong ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment
  • Familiarity with Source code management and integration (GitHub, GitLab)
  • Familiar working in an Agile environment
