Requirements - 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

- Hortonworks Certified Hadoop Administrator
- Hortonworks Certified Hadoop Developer Additional

Job Details:Preferences - Hortonworks Certified Hadoop Administrator - Hortonworks Certified Hadoop Developer
Responsibilities - Very strong and hands-on experience with Hadoop (Hortonworks, Cloudera) and all its eco-system technologies (Hive, HBase, Impala, and Spark). -
 Experience with Teradata Hadoop appliance or relevant data migration experience is highly desired. -
Lead and assist in the evolving design and implementation of solutions for multiple large data warehouses with a solid understanding of cluster and parallel architecture, as well as high-scale or distributed RDBMS and/or knowledge on NoSQL platforms -
Ability to interact with executive stake holders and drive the strategy for the Hadoop platform.
- In-depth experience in being able to setup and configure Hadoop clusters and its eco-system technologies.
- In-depth and hands-on experience in coding, developing, testing, and deployment of Hadoop and Big Data solutions using JVM based languages (Scala, Java).
- Very strong background in Linux operating system.
- Clearly able to document requirements, design and testing specifications.
- Ability to write code with scripting languages like Python.
- Strong Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
