Do you want to work with a talented group of marketing and business development professionals to support CRW Engineering Group's pursuit of community-transforming project work across Alaska?

Company Overview: CRW Engineering Group, Inc. is a dynamic and innovative engineering firm dedicated to providing technical solutions to Alaska's toughest engineering challenges. The result is a connected and inspired group of professionals who thrive on collaboration, driving us to deliver exceptional results for the clients and communities who give our work purpose.

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented, organized, and versatile Marketing & Communications Specialist to join our marketing and business development team. This role owns CRW's day-to-day communications and marketing efforts, including social media, events, marketing content, materials, and special initiatives. Proposal development is also a core responsibility and takes priority whenever active. Depending on pursuit workload, the position may shift primarily to proposal work until deadlines are met. • Lead planning and coordination for external marketing, client, industry, and community events; support HR and other internal teams with company events and communications.
  • Coordinate branded materials, giveaways/SWAG, advertising, sponsorship materials, and other collateral; provide Adobe InDesign and graphic design backup as needed.
  • Lead and support special marketing and business development projects, including campaigns, surveys, market research, or photography/video.

Proposal Responsibilities - Priority When Active:

  • Support and, as assigned, lead proposals, statements of qualifications, sources-sought responses, interview materials, and other pursuits. When active, proposal work takes precedence over routine marketing responsibilities and may at times comprise the majority of working hours.
  • Coordinate proposal schedules, requirements, compliance, content development, reviews, revisions, and final production in collaboration with technical, marketing, and graphic design staff.
  • Gather, write, edit, and organize proposal content, resumes, project descriptions, and other supporting materials; support proposal graphics and InDesign production as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, business, English, writing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience. Architecture, engineering, and/or construction (AEC) experience and Alaska market experience preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, copywriting, and communication skills, including experience developing content for social media and other channels.
  • Proposal experience and familiarity with Request for Proposal (RFP) structure, scoring criteria, and response requirements are strongly preferred; must be comfortable shifting priorities when proposal deadlines require.
  • Excellent organization, project management, and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical, marketing, HR, leadership, and design teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe InDesign and other Adobe Creative Suite applications is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Highly competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
  • A collaborative, flexible, and supportive work environment that emphasizes a healthy work/life balance.
