Job description

Our client in Calgary is an industry-leading transportation and supply-chain company, and they are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for the picking, packing, shipping and receiving process to ensure shipments are meeting deadlines. This is a temporary position for 4-8 weeks with the possibility of extension – if you are looking for a great opportunity to get some valued experienced - apply now.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for receiving, stocking and replenishing orders; efficiently entering information into database.
  • Answering phone calls, filing, following up with customers.
  • Creating freight bills as needed.
  • Updating and processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Manage customers' accounts, updating information as needed.
  • Refer direct requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate resource.
  • Coordinate between departments effectively.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience working in an office environment is required.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or order picking would be considered an asset.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Ability to meet deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, spoken and written along with customer service skills.
  • Good mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong ability to resolve issues and maintain customer relations.
  • Comfortable Monday to Friday shift from 7:30am – 4:00pm.
