IBM webMethods Developer (Kansas City, KS - Onsite)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

•        We are looking for an experienced IBM webMethods Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise applications and business processes using the webMethods integration platform.

•        The ideal candidate will have strong experience in integration development, API management, messaging, troubleshooting, and production support.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

•        Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using IBM webMethods Integration Server.

•        Develop and configure webMethods interfaces, services, workflows, and integrations.

•        Integrate applications using REST, SOAP, HTTP/S, XML, JSON, JDBC, FTP/SFTP, and other protocols.

•        Work with webMethods Designer to develop and maintain integration services.

•        Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs.

•        Configure and manage integrations with databases and external applications.

•        Troubleshoot integration failures, performance issues, and production incidents.

•        Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.

•        Monitor integrations and ensure reliable data flow between systems.

•        Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, development, deployment, and production support.

•        Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and other developers.

•        Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and support documentation.

•        Follow development standards, security guidelines, and change-management processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

•        Strong hands-on experience with IBM webMethods Integration Server.

•        Experience with webMethods Designer and integration development.

•        Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, HTTP/S, JDBC, FTP/SFTP.

•        Experience with API development and integration patterns.

•        Good understanding of databases and SQL.

•        Experience with error handling, logging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

•        Knowledge of software development lifecycle and deployment processes.

•        Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

•        Experience with webMethods API Gateway.

•        Experience with webMethods Trading Networks.

•        Knowledge of messaging technologies such as JMS/MQ.

•        Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

•        Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Azure DevOps.

•        Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

•        Knowledge of enterprise application integration (EAI) and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
