Educational Consultant - Higher Education (Nursing & Health Sciences)
Location: Syracuse area (NY)
We're seeking a consultative sales professional to support adoption of digital and print learning solutions in the higher education nursing and health sciences space. This is a territory-based role focused on building relationships with faculty and academic decision-makers while driving product usage and revenue growth.
What You'll Do
  • Own and grow a defined territory, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Deliver virtual and in-person product demonstrations, webinars, and faculty trainings
  • Support onboarding sessions at the start of academic terms
  • Partner with internal teams to increase adoption of digital learning tools
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and manage pipeline activity
  • Track market trends and competitive insights within your territory
  • Manage territory expenses within budget guidelines

What You Bring
  • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent approach to sales execution
  • Excellent communication skills, including virtual presentation/webinar experience
  • Proven success in consultative selling and relationship building
  • Experience selling into higher education (nursing/health sciences preferred) OR 3-5+ years of complex B2B consultative sales experience
  • Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management

Territory & Travel
  • Must live within driving distance of assigned territory accounts
  • Approximately up to 70% regional travel during busy season
