Job description
3-6 years of experience administering IBI WebFOCUS Client environments. Strong knowledge of WebFOCUS Client architecture (InfoAssist, BI Portal, ReportCaster). Experience managing user security, groups, and roles within WebFOCUS Client. Familiarity with LDAPActive Directory integration and single sign-on (SSO). Understanding of content deployment, scpersonduling, and migration processes. Ability to read and interpret log files and perform root cause analysis. Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business users.Preferred Qualifications Experience with WebFOCUS 8207 or 9.x versions. Basic understanding of WebFOCUS Reporting Server and DataMigrator (for coordination). Knowledge of Tomcat IIS web servers. Exposure to Azure or AWS deployments of WebFOCUS. Scripting experience (Spersonll PowerShell) for automating admin tasks. Administer and maintain tperson WebFOCUS Client (InfoAssist, BI Portal, ReportCaster) environments. Manage user accounts, groups, and roles within tperson WebFOCUS Client security model. Configure and maintain security rules for folders, reports, dashboards, and portals. Assist with content organizationcreate and manage folders, domains, and portal pages. Support report publishing and scheduling through ReportCaster. Perform migrations of content (reports, dashboards, portals) across Dev, QA, and Prod environments. Manage and troubleshoot user access issues, content visibility, and delivery errors. Collaborate with BI developers to deploy and test new reports or dashboards. Monitor job executions, logs, and alerts to ensure reliable report delivery. Participate in audits, compliance checks, and documentation of security configurations. Support upgrades, patches, and configuration changes to tperson WebFOCUS Client layer. Provide training and support to business users on portal navigation and basic report usage.
