This role is a freelance Virtual Live Stream Webcasting Technician who will stream Wall Street investor conferences remotely for various events around the globe. Knowledge of troubleshooting, customer service, and streaming software required.


All equipment may be provided for business continuity. Minimum Internet Requirements - Network speed of 25 Mbps or more.


Independent Contractors are not employees and have the ability to accept and reject assignments.

Assignments are generally within a schedule of 6:00 AM ET - 6:00 PM ET. Additional assignments outside of this schedule are available, as needed.



Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand and operate streaming platforms (OBS)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Understand and operate Zoom
  • Understand general technology
  • Ability to create a clean, professional presentation
  • Ability to research and develop new skills
  • Be pleasant and energetic early in the morning
  • Ability to interact with clients face to face
  • Able to work long hours and stay focused
  • Report client feedback and potential product requests
  • Setup/test/run webcast services
  • Provide White-Glove Service


Education and Experience

  • Working knowledge of streaming software (OBS), hardware, and signal flows
  • Experience working with browser-based tools
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS/Android
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer service experience, IT support experience
