Job description

Company Description
OleOle is building the world's first decentralized super app for football.
We're creating a global platform that combines social networking, messaging, live scores, e-commerce, crypto rewards, and in-match gambling - all built natively in Rust and integrated with the Solana blockchain.
Unlike typical social networks, OleOle is focused 100% on football fans. We're not another media app competing with Twitter or TikTok - we're building the digital infrastructure for the world's biggest sport, with a native tech stack and a business model tailored for clubs, brands, and fans.
OleOle is launching a decentralized rewards and commerce token - OleX - on the Solana blockchain as part of our global super app for football fans. We are seeking a senior-level Solana blockchain engineer to lead the development of this token. This role involves full ownership of token architecture, smart contract development, and integration across our platform.
We're looking for someone with real-world experience launching tokens - not just building prototypes, but delivering secure, scalable token infrastructure ready for public sale and platform utility.
What we require (must-haves)
  • Proven token launch lead: owned at least one end-to-end token launch (strategy → pre-sale/public sale → listings → post-launch growth). Must provide contract addresses, public metrics, and references.
  • Growth playbook for Web3: built scalable programs (referrals/airdrops/quests, influencer/KOL networks, affiliates) with anti-bot/Sybil controls and measurable conversion to wallets/holders.
  • Audience fit: experience marketing to sports fans, gambling communities, and crypto natives; can tailor funnels and creatives per segment.
  • Partnerships at scale: can recruit and manage tens of thousands of fan-run blogs with rev-share/affiliate frameworks; comfortable making token the payment/reward rail.
  • Data/attribution: rigorous with analytics (on-chain + off-chain), cohort/LTV, CAC payback, campaign ROI; builds dashboards and owns KPIs.
  • Community systems: shipped and operated Telegram/Discord at scale (mods, bots, security, escalation, 24/7 comms calendar).
  • Go-to-market leadership: owns narrative, PR/announcements, launch calendars, landing pages, and creator programs; partners tightly with Product, Legal/Compliance, and BD.
  • Compliance awareness: practical experience running crypto marketing under varying rules (e.g., age-gating, disclaimers, geo-targeting, gambling/crypto ad restrictions) and working with counsel.

What We're Building
OleOle is a multi-layered platform with several interconnected products:
1. Football Super App (Mobile & Web)
  • 20,000+ team and country channels
  • Twitter-style posts, WhatsApp-style messaging, and TikTok-style videos
  • Real-time translation of all chats, posts, and videos into 200+ languages
  • Live scores, push alerts, fan content, polls, and more

2. Mini Program Marketplace
  • A decentralized alternative to the App Store or Google Play
  • Brands, teams, and creators can launch their own apps inside OleOle without paying 30% fees
  • All built on the blockchain, not the cloud
  • Rewarded with OleX, our Solana-based utility token

3. OleX Token Ecosystem
  • Used for commerce, content rewards, and gambling payouts
  • Brands must buy OleX to reward users with 1-5% cashback for purchases
  • Token demand is driven by millions of micro-transactions across the platform

4. Crypto-Only Gambling
  • Integrated directly into live score feeds and fan channels
  • No tabs, redirects, or off-platform sportsbooks
  • Licensed, crypto-only, with real-time engagement mechanics

5. AI & Language Infrastructure
  • AI-powered real-time translation of fan content, making the entire platform multilingual by default
  • In-house football-specific LLM to power history, trivia, and personalized recommendations

How We're Building It
We are not using wrappers or open-source clones. OleOle is being built entirely from scratch using:
  • Rust for backend and systems-level performance
  • Solana for token creation, wallet logic, and decentralized mini programs
  • WebSockets and event-driven architecture for real-time features like messaging, live scores, and betting
  • AI translation for global accessibility
  • Solana smart contracts for reward logic, commerce, and staking (via the Anchor framework)
  • React/React Native for responsive mobile and web interfaces

Why Join Now
OleOle is in the early stages of building a massive, category-defining platform. We already have:
  • A world-class ticket and fan travel business (OleOleSport), with exclusive rights to the AFC Champions League and Liga MX
  • A veteran founder with deep experience in tickets, sponsorships, and global sports events (founder of RazorGator and PrimeSport)
  • A clear monetization model based on transaction fees, token volume, and platform ownership
  • A dedicated design team and pre-launch community infrastructure already in motion
  • Token launch and platform rollout planned over the next 8 months

Qualifications
Required Startup Experience & Qualifications
This role requires proven early-stage startup experience with measurable, first-principles SEO success. We are not looking for candidates who inherited traffic, managed mature brands, or worked primarily through agencies. This role is about building organic growth infrastructure from zero.
The ideal candidate has personally led SEO from near-zero traffic to meaningful scale at a startup or newly launched product. That scale should be demonstrated through outcomes such as reaching millions of monthly organic sessions, indexing tens or hundreds of thousands of pages, or consistently ranking in the top search positions across thousands of long-tail keywords. Candidates must have owned site architecture, internal linking strategy, and template-driven or programmatic SEO, not just content calendars or editorial execution. Experience competing directly against entrenched incumbents such as Wikipedia, ESPN, or major media publishers is strongly preferred.
This role requires experience designing and operating large-scale content systems rather than traditional blog SEO. The candidate should have built or scaled platforms with at least tens of thousands of structured pages, using reusable templates and governed content systems. Experience with MediaWiki or similarly complex CMS platforms is a strong advantage, as is the ability to design systems that scale before large teams exist. Candidates should be comfortable thinking in terms of infrastructure, not one-off content.
Hands-on experience using AI to support SEO and content growth is required. This includes integrating AI into content generation, expansion, enrichment, and large-scale translation workflows while maintaining quality and search performance. The ideal candidate understands how to scale AI-assisted content without triggering thin-content or duplication penalties and is familiar with optimizing for emerging AI-driven discovery surfaces such as search generative experiences and LLM-based assistants.
Proven success with multilingual and international SEO is critical. Candidates should have experience implementing hreflang strategies, managing canonicalization across languages, and driving organic traffic growth across multiple countries and regions. This role requires comfort operating at global scale, not just English-language markets.
This is a startup leadership role. The right candidate has experience working in seed-to-Series-B environments and is comfortable operating without large teams, paid acquisition budgets, or agency support. They must be able to design strategy, execute personally, and later hire and scale a team. Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and ownership is essential.
Experience growing or marketing a token-based product is a strong advantage. This includes utility or rewards tokens, tokenized communities, or crypto-native platforms. The focus must be on real usage, retention, and on-chain engagement rather than speculative hype. Familiarity with compliance-aware marketing, wallet growth, and incentive-driven ecosystems is important.
Candidates must be prepared to demonstrate real results. This includes providing specific examples of SEO and organic growth wins, explaining what they personally owned and executed, and discussing lessons learned from both successes and failures. Titles alone are not sufficient for this role.
We will prioritize candidates who can clearly explain how they built organic growth before it was obvious, how they designed systems that scaled without breaking, and how they defended rankings against much larger competitors. At OleOle, SEO is treated as core infrastructure, not a marketing channel.
Additional Information

  • Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and general growing pains of an early-stage technology company
  • An exceptional entrepreneurial judgment that fosters independence over micro-management
  • Understanding of football and international sports a huge plus
  • We are offering:
  • Deferred salary until funding is secured, meaning there is risk, it could take a few months could take longer.
