Job description

Performance Marketing Specialist: Email & Web

We are looking for a full-time Performance Marketing Specialist who is strategically minded and has a genuine interest in furniture & design. If you have experience building email content, landing pages, and automations for high-end clients, we'd love to hear from you.

We are looking for a full-time Performance Marketing Specialist who is strategically minded and has a genuine interest in furniture & design. If you have experience building email content, landing pages, and automations for high-end clients, we'd love to hear from you.

STAPHAUS is a specialized digital marketing agency and consultancy dedicated to the furniture and design industry. We partner with high-end D2C e-commerce brands and traditional B2B companies to help them navigate the digital landscape, drive revenue, and generate qualified leads.

We are not a generalist agency with hundreds of accounts, and we do not care about vanity metrics. We act as an extension of our clients' teams, bringing a hands‑on, data‑driven approach to high‑ticket, high‑consideration purchasing cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build email marketing campaigns and automations using a variety of ESPs (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, etc.)
  • Design and build campaign landing pages using a variety of landing page builders (Webflow, HubSpot, AI builders, etc.)
  • Lead overall email marketing calendar, content, copywriting, strategy, and messaging.
  • Create, design, and optimize various email lists, templates, and campaigns.
  • Proofread emails and landing pages for clarity, grammar, and spelling.
  • Constantly upgrade email templates and landing pages using graphics, personalization, and advanced features, ensuring mobile‑friendly email templates.
  • Document process roadmaps, A/B tests, and successful email promotions.
  • Analyze data, campaign performance, and suggest improvements.
  • Create reporting on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
  • Ensure emails and landing pages follow industry policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to craft a successful strategy for our clients, including, but not limited to: digital ad edits and suggestions, UX and web improvements, etc.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Management, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in B2C marketing.
  • Proven 3+ years of experience with Email Marketing, Marketing Manager, or a similar role in the Marketing Department for a consumer‑facing brand or agency.
  • Ability to utilize a wide range of marketing automation technologies, email and landing page builders.
  • Exceptional working knowledge of marketing communications, including advertising, promotions, sales, branding, and online promotions.
  • Knowledge of advanced email and digital marketing trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional time‑management and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

The Reality Check (Why this might not be for you)

  • If you are used to large companies where the established processes guide what you do every day, this role will be difficult.
  • We value sustainable, profitable growth over standard “best practice” and vanity metrics. You need to be comfortable defending your decisions with hard data.
  • If your experience is entirely focused on managing external agencies rather than pulling the levers yourself, you will not succeed here.

What We Provide In Return

Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000, depending on experience

STAPHAUS provides a robust total rewards package, including flexible work hours, competitive compensation packages, generous PTO, medical and dental insurance, and performance bonuses.

STAPHAUS is an equal‑opportunity employer, and we value diverse voices, backgrounds, and perspectives on our team. We don’t discriminate based upon race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, status as a protected veteran, status as an individual with a disability, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
