Overview
We are seeking a Knowledge Manager (Web Services) to support the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and user interfaces. This role combines expertise in UI/UX design, web development, and SharePoint applications, ensuring web services meet operational needs, provide intuitive user experiences, and support critical intelligence workflows. The ideal candidate will translate user requirements into innovative web solutions, ensure operational efficiency, and integrate visual and functional elements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and websites, including SharePoint development.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Classic ASP, JavaScript, VB Script, HTML, C#, Angular, Angular JS, and related frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint-based applications, using REST APIs to manage records in SharePoint lists.
  • Ensure compatibility and optimization for Internet Information Services (IIS) hosting platforms.
  • Configure and manage web servers in cloud environments as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet both functional and security requirements.
  • Ensure web services align with operational needs and intelligence processes.
  • Maintain awareness of security requirements and follow DoD cybersecurity best practices.
  • Support CONUS and OCONUS deployments as necessary, providing web and UI/UX support to operational teams.
  • Mentor junior web designers and developers in best practices for web design, UI/UX, and development workflows.

Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. citizen
  • TS/SCI clearance, SSBI, and favorable CI polygraph.
  • Proven experience in both web design and web development (UI/UX and application development).
  • Strong proficiency in CSS, Bootstrap, Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, JS, Classic ASP, VB Script, C#, Angular, Angular JS.
  • Experience with SharePoint development, including REST APIs, list management, and SharePoint server hosting.
  • Knowledge of IIS hosting and cloud-based web server management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with intelligence, IT, and operational teams.
  • Ability and willingness to deploy to operational locations as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing and developing web applications in a DoD or intelligence environment.
  • Familiarity with integrating web services with intelligence systems and operational workflows.
  • Ability to translate complex intelligence requirements into clear, functional web solutions.
  • Leadership or mentoring experience in web design and development teams.
