Job description

At ASSA ABLOY, our mission is to make securely accessing the things in your life noticeably easier, without being noticeable. Our global teams work together to create products and services that add everyday simplicity and convenience to our users' lives. With the ability to control access to what they love the most, we're able to provide peace of mind through safety and visibility.

The ASSA ABLOY Accessories Group (AG) and Access & Egress Hardware Group (AEHG) are seeking a data-driven Web Optimization Specialist to support the ongoing performance, usability, and search visibility of multiple websites from brands including Corbin Russwin, McKinney, Rockwood and SARGENT. This role is critical in ensuring a best-in-class digital experience through continuous website enhancements, SEO/GEO execution, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product management, and development teams.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing enterprise CMS platforms (such as Adobe Experience Manager or Sitecore), executing both foundational and advanced SEO/GEO strategies, optimizing web landing pages for lead conversion, and implementing UI/UX improvements that enhance engagement. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage competing priorities across brands, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve digital performance at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Optimization

  • Make consistent web updates across multiple brand websites to support new product development (NPD), product launches, and ongoing marketing initiatives
  • Manage and publish content and new site structures within enterprise-level CMS platforms
  • Manage and publish landing pages (static and interactive) that support lead conversion for digital marketing campaigns
  • Provide content optimization suggestions for brand teams to improve clarity, engagement, and conversion performance
  • Ensure all web content aligns with brand standards, messaging consistency, and UI/UX best practices

SEO/GEO Strategy & Execution

  • Support basic SEO/GEO responsibilities, including metadata updates, keyword alignment, and on-page optimization in partnership with the Paid Strategy manager
  • Understand and actively advocate for technical SEO/GEO best practices across site structure, indexing, and performance based on data-driven insights, as well as audit brand websites regularly
  • Perform more sophisticated SEO optimizations, including schema implementation and structured data enhancements
  • Continue learning and adapting as SEO/GEO evolves, incorporating emerging tools, trends, and algorithm updates

UI/UX Collaboration & Development Support

  • Partner closely with internal development teams to deploy UI/UX improvements that enhance usability and accessibility
  • Translate marketing and user experience requirements into actionable website updates
  • Participate in testing and validation of new features, ensuring a consistent and high-quality user experience across devices
  • Lead internal calls with marketing communication and product management teams and discussions on UI/UX improvements, and website optimization strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Prioritization

  • Collaborate with product marketing, digital marketing, and sales teams to align website updates with business priorities
  • Organize, prioritize, and execute requests from multiple stakeholders across brands

Core Technical Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or Sitecore
  • Strong understanding of SEO/GEO best practices, including both on-page and technical SEO
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, or similar platforms
  • Knowledge of schema markup and structured data implementation
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and website performance tracking
  • Working knowledge of UI/UX principles and website usability standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with interactive content platforms such as Foleon or Ceros a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in web content management, SEO, or digital experience optimization
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing websites within an enterprise CMS environment (AEM preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead discussions and influence stakeholders

Why Join ASSA ABLOY?

  • Be part of a global leader in access solutions, shaping the future of secure, connected environments
  • Work with cutting-edge digital platforms and an innovative, collaborative marketing team
  • Play a key role in enhancing digital experiences across industry-leading brands
  • Contribute to meaningful advancements in safety, security, and sustainability
