Americaneagle.com is seeking a qualified SEO Specialist within our Downtown Chicago or Des Plaines, IL office to join our growing SEO Department. The SEO Specialist's primary function is to facilitate the day-to-day execution of organic search marketing programs for clients ranging from small and mid-size companies to Fortune 100 global corporations.
The SEO Specialist should be highly skilled in web optimization and driving organic traffic conversion. They will be responsible for improving clients' organic search results through planning, coordination, management, and monitoring of SEO campaigns.
Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute SEO strategies for multiple clients
  • Track, analyze, and report campaign performance using Google Analytics and SEO industry tools
  • Understand clients' digital marketing goals and translate them into executable SEO strategies through ongoing maintenance and enhancements
  • Own the organic growth channel by driving traffic, lead generation, and revenue growth
  • Identify KPIs and complete work needed to improve client site rankings and click-through rates in major search engines
  • Work with production teams to ensure website architecture aligns with SEO goals
  • Complete site audits accounting for technical, on-page, and off-page SEO factors
  • Review prospect SEO metrics to create program recommendations and communicate findings to support the sales team during pitches
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of SEO experience
  • Google Analytics Certified with experience using Google Tag Manager
  • Proficient with Google Ads, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and SEO reporting and analytics software
  • In-depth understanding of search engines, current SEO techniques, ranking factors, and principles for sound SEO design and user experience
  • Knowledge of web design technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts verbally and in writing to clients
  • Strong time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Ability to think logically and develop practical recommendations to support client marketing strategies and website performance
