What You’ll Do

As Medical Equipment Operations Manager, you’ll lead a growing service line—optimizing staffing and delivery processes, elevating quality, developing talent, and ensuring projects meet client requirements efficiently and consistently.

  • Lead resource management for the Medical Equipment Planning service line—forecast staffing needs, balance utilization, and reallocate based on project demand.
  • Oversee all active projects to ensure scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client requirements are met within company standards and policies.
  • Track adherence to MEQ processes; refine and document delivery workflows and templates to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Develop training for planners and project coordinators; mentor staff on delivery methods, QA/QC, and client service.
  • Assign work based on client needs, project type, workload, and staff capabilities; maintain clear communication across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with routine administrative policies (timesheets, expense reports, POs); approve timesheets and expenses in line with allocations.
  • Own service-line quality; review work products and implement corrective actions and lessons learned.
  • Foster an engaged, collaborative culture; resolve disputes across teams and with other departments; drive process improvements to prevent recurrences.
  • Recruit, select, and develop colleagues; set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide salary/bonus recommendations.
  • Partner with the CRM to develop and execute marketing plans; support client‑care activities and new business development.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and ensure high satisfaction; represent SSR in industry organizations to elevate the firm’s reputation.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on performance statistics, pipeline, staffing, and utilization; support special projects and related duties.

Who We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree AND eight years of applicable experience OR twelve years of direct experience in the healthcare arena and allied services
  • Six years of experience specifically in project management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and web browser applications; familiarity with industry‑specific software.
  • Understanding of engineering principles/methodologies, resource allocation, and project delivery in AE environments.
  • Clear written communication and speech clarity; detail orientation with strong judgment, problem solving, and business acumen.
  • Team‑building, interpersonal, personnel management, leadership, and mentoring skills to develop high‑performing teams.

What We Offer

  • 100% Employee-Owned – Ownership from day one with immediate ESOP vesting.
  • Retirement Savings – 401(k) with immediate vesting and a generous company match.
  • Health & Wellness – Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus company‑funded HSA contributions for HDHP plans.
  • Company-Paid Protection – Life insurance, AD&D, and short and long term disability at no cost to you.
  • Work-Life Balance – Flexible schedules, paid parental leave, generous PTO, and paid company holidays.
  • Career Growth – Tuition reimbursement and ongoing professional development support.

SSR is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer

This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.
