We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate must possess a solid background in programming, with a focus on front-end technologies, strong SQL skills, and experience in creating and consuming REST APIs. The role requires proficiency in JavaScript UI libraries such as Vue or React, with a preference for candidates with Vue.js/Quasar experience. Successful candidates will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our internal applications and systems, work closely with business teams across the organization to deliver high-quality solutions. Our engineers can use Claude Code, Codex, and Github Copilot to generate code. However, every programmer is required to review, understand, and explain the use of generated code. It is imperative that developers have a solid grasp of the fundamentals of coding and logic in order to control the AI agents.

• Collaborate with our Business Systems Analyst, Project Manager, and cross-functional teams to understand software requirements, develop technical specifications, and translate business needs into actionable development plans.
• Partner with the Project Manager to estimate level of effort, define timing, and identify high-level tasks for each initiative, ensuring accurate project planning, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
• Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly web applications with a focus on clean and efficient code.
• Utilize strong SQL skills to design and optimize database schemas and queries/stored procedures.
• Implement responsive and visually appealing web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Incorporate Vue.js (React experience accepted) to build interactive components and enhance user experiences.
• Utilize C# and dotnet Web API to develop back-end functionality and RESTful services.
• Work within Visual Studio and/or VS Code to ensure smooth coding and debugging processes.
• Create and consume REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration between different parts of the application.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Graph is essential.
• Experience working with Azure for cloud-based deployment efforts.
• Experience with Postman (or equivalent) and handling JSON (or occasionally SOAP/XML) requests for testing and API interactions.
• Collaborate in the evaluation and integration of new tools, technologies, and frameworks.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues as they arise.

• Candidates must be fully authorized (US citizen, green card holder, TN visa) to work in the United States without a CURRENT OR FUTURE need for visa sponsorship. TN visas are acceptable.
• Minimum 5-7 years of programming experience in a corporate or software development environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (i.e. writing and optimizing complex queries) and designing and optimizing databases.
• Experience working within accounting systems such as Deltek, SAP, or others in a corporate environment is a plus.
• Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce is a plus.
• Proficiency in web front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Solid experience with at least one UI library, preferably Vue.js. React experience is also acceptable. Knowledge of C# and dotnet Web API for developing back-end functionality.
• Experience using Github Copilot, Codex, or Claude Code for generating and testing code.
• Familiarity with development environments such as Visual Studio and VS Code.
• Experience creating and consuming REST APIs, ensuring effective communication between components.
• Desired knowledge of Microsoft Graph and Azure for cloud-based development.
• Experience using Postman for API testing and familiarity with JSON or SOAP.
• Comfortable working with the Microsoft stack of tools and operating systems.
• Preferred: Experience with MS Graph and Azure services.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Salary: $130,000 - $150,000 per year
