Job description

In this hands‑on role, the candidate will be responsible for website administration, content management, user experience and SEO improvements. The main goal is to optimize website user journeys and conversion opportunities. The candidate will help us improve student engagement and build enrollment-focused website experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate on implementation and analysis of lead tracking, conversion measurement, and user engagement initiatives
  • Monitor website traffic, search performance and conversions using Google Analytics and Google Search Console to create performance reports and share insights and recommendations with the marketing team
  • Collaborate with marketing staff, admissions and academic departments on website updates while providing CMS guidance and sharing web content best practices.
Technical Environment and Tech Stack

Ideal candidates will bring expertise in the following technologies:

  • WordPress CMS and Gravity Forms
  • HTML, PHP, CSS, website accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), SEO best practices, especially technical SEO and website performance optimizations
  • Website analytics and performance tracking tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Website hosting environments, plugin updates, site speed/uptime monitoring, DNS management, and CRM & third‑party integrations
  • UX/UI best practices and conversion rate optimization
  • A/B testing or personalization tools
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in web development, digital marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of professional experience managing and optimizing websites, preferably in higher education/enrollment-marketing websites
  • Experience working with WordPress CMS and Gravity Forms
  • Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, CSS, website accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA), and SEO best practices, especially technical SEO and website performance optimizations
  • Experience with website analytics and performance tracking tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with website hosting environments, plugin updates, site speed/uptime monitoring, DNS management, and CRM & third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and conversion rate optimization.
  • Enthusiasm for and familiarity with A/B testing or personalization tools is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Budgeted Salary: $65,000.00-$70,000.00/yr
