Are you a visionary digital leader ready to shape the future of enterprise marketing? Hubbell is seeking a Senior Director of Digital Marketing to lead global strategy across eCommerce, web, social media, and marketing technology platforms.

The Hubbell Enterprise Marketing Director, Digital Marketing, will be primarily responsible for the development and implementation of digital marketing strategies that meet/exceed Hubbell’s business objectives. The Director will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing the Hubbell brand portfolio across our global web and digital marketing channels following corporate brand and brand architecture strategy. They will ensure that every component of our digital properties is bold, innovative, drives measurable engagement, and are built from a user-centered perspective. They will develop digital and technology strategies that successfully support both the company's brand and revenue-generating opportunities, while connecting to the best tools, content, and integration in the technology ecosystem.

The Director is responsible for leading a global team that handles Hubbell’s eCommerce Enablement, Web Marketing, Social Media, and Marketing Technology platforms. This Director has a passion for B2B digital technology and leveraging it to build strong organizational marketing capabilities. They are extremely well versed in all things digital, comfortable with a wide array of enterprise technologies and solutions. We are seeking candidates who are located in: Farmington, CT, Greenville, SC, or St. Louis, MO.

A Day In The Life
  • Establish and cast a vision for Hubbell’s digital marketing organization. Develop and implement effective strategies for digital marketing to achieve the vision
  • Equip, enable and provide leadership to a global digital marketing team which delivers eCommerce, “web marketing”, social media, and marketing technology solutions.
  • Oversee the ongoing global digital strategy development, maintenance and improvement of the design and functionality for all Hubbell digital properties, tools, and applications, leveraging deep knowledge of digital design and functionality principles
  • Develop strategies to drive traffic to Hubbell.com and affiliate websites to grow revenue
  • Ensures the appropriate enterprise-wide marketing technology platforms and products are in place to drive effective digital strategies, monitor performance and track results to include DAM, PIM, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Works collaboratively and efficiently with other marketing disciplines, Information Technology (IT), Product Management, and other internal stakeholders to drive key enterprise initiatives.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders to select best-in-class third-party partners/ vendors and closely manages key vendor relationships
  • Establishes, champions, and disseminates interactive reporting on all efforts.

  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience; or the equivalent of education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, information technology or a related field of study. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience managing corporate web properties and assets and working across a large matrix organization
  • Experience managing and building geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience with E-commerce program implementation and management.
  • A collaborative and innovative spirit with a strong desire to continually improve and expand the enterprise
  • Ideal candidate would have electrical and/or utility industry background
  • The ability to work independently in delivering high quality work and capable of effectively collaborating with global, cross-functional teams as needed
  • Proven ability to successfully build, coach, motivate and inspire a diverse team, high performing team
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, project management and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result-driven environment
