Lead Software Innovation That Makes a Difference - Join PRC-Saltillo as a Software Engineering Supervisor!


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists management in the operation of the department, including the coordination of resources and assets, budgeting and scheduling, process and work system management, interviewing/hiring, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Mentors other members of thesoftware team, including the technical and administrative supervision of another engineer's work.
  • Reviews software strategy with Engineering management and other engineers to assure that the final products are safe for the end user, follow good engineering practices (software must be able to be maintained and modified if necessary), perform the required functions, and can be efficiently and effectively maintained as products.
  • Completes performance appraisals as required by company policies in a timely fashion, including follow-up responsibility to assist with professional development and/or disciplinary actions as required for the staff assigned.


Education and Experience

  • B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, an equivalent degree, or equivalent work experience required.
  • At least 6 years of developing experience in Python/C++/C# for PC applications and/or Python/JavaScript/C# for full-stack web development. Appropriate internship, co-op, or similar work experience may be acceptable.
  • Experience with software and product systems design and programming, including object-oriented design and MVC is required.
