Job Description

Sr Java/ Web-tier developer (need strong technical resource & someone who can start within 1-2 weeks) 

       Location: Columbus OH, Positions: 2, Duration - 6 months+ 

        BS degree or higher in a technical field such as Computer Science or Mathematics  

5+ years Java/J2EE development work experience (required) 

2+ years experience (in each of the technologies and not combined) with Spring,Struts, Hiberante, XML and web services technologies (required) 

Experience with iBatis/Hibernate, JDBC/SQL, JPA (required) 

Experience with source control systems (SVN) (required) 

1) Framework design & development, Socket programming, Knowledge of IP protocols, Google Web Toolkit 

2) Develop reusable infrastructure components 

3) Develop UI widgets that run across all browsers/display devices 

Soft skills needed :

  • Candidate should have a flair to work across technologies, if needed.
  • Candidate should demonstrate depth and breadth across technologies.
  • He/She should be passionate about technology and should be showing keen interest in the modern developments in technology.
  • Should be able to visualize the big picture. Might need to perform PoCs or solutions.
  • Strong in communication - ask questions, articulate clearly in technical meetings, push back/review technical solutions being presented,
