JOB LOCATION: Dahlgren, Virginia

JOB STATUS: Full Time

CLEARANCE: Secret

TRAVEL: Less than 10%

Salary: $110,000 to $120,500

Astrion has four (4) contingent openings for Systems Programmers (Web/SharePoint) supporting the U.S. Navy’s Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), located in Dahlgren, VA. As a Systems Programmer (Web/SharePoint) you will engineer, design, and optimize secure website applications, database backends, and network systems. This role blends web programming and user interface design with custom SharePoint customization and backend C++ optimization. This position will be expected to engage with full-stack lifecycle operations—including front-end layout styling, technical database maintenance, and low-level debugging—while strictly maintaining the environment's defense-grade cybersecurity readiness.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Four (4) years of professional experience using various programming languages to:
  • Develop websites and network systems
  • Maintaining databases
  • Developing new user interfaces
  • Designing and debugging websites
  • Qualified experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS and C++ programming language and experience in SharePoint.
  • Information Assurance Technical Level 2 (IAT II) level with a T3 background investigation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Bachelor's level degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with field of concentration in computer science.
  • CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, or CCNA
