Job description

Responsible for ongoing modifications and development of web-based applications.  Maintains system structure and information integrity.  Supports problem identification, troubleshooting, and resolution.  Actively communicates with the user community to discuss requested development, enhancements and support where necessary.


Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred with emphasis in Computer Science.  Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Experience: Require a minimum of up to 1 year experience as a programmer or equivalent in various application environments.

Additional skills/abilities: Extensive knowledge of Web languages and Web browser capabilities, with a working knowledge in databases such as SQL. Good knowledge of Windows and Unix (Linux) operating systems.  Excellent customer service skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop requests into logical and clear definitions to facilitate software development. Skills to develop technical documentation to support software modifications. Strong detail orientation.
