Job description

Position Description: Designs, develops, maintains, and enhances web-based applications, SharePoint portals, dashboards, collaboration platforms, and information management tools supporting ARCENT operations. Develops secure web solutions that facilitate operational planning, logistics management, knowledge sharing, and reporting requirements. Integrates databases, automated workflows, and business intelligence capabilities to improve organizational effectiveness. Ensures compliance with Army cybersecurity standards and information assurance requirements while supporting continuous improvement of web-enabled mission systems.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications, SharePoint sites, dashboards, and collaboration portals supporting ARCENT operations.
  • Develop secure web-based solutions that support operational planning, logistics management, reporting, and knowledge-sharing requirements.
  • Create and maintain databases, automated workflows, forms, and business process solutions to improve organizational efficiency.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and business intelligence tools that support command decision-making and operational awareness.
  • Integrate web applications with approved Army and DoD systems, databases, and enterprise platforms.
  • Analyze user requirements and translate operational needs into functional web-based solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize application performance, reliability, and usability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, user guides, and system configuration records.
  • Implement cybersecurity controls and ensure compliance with Army Cybersecurity, RMF, and Information Assurance requirements.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity, network, and system administrators to maintain secure and effective operations.
  • Provide technical support, user assistance, and training for web-enabled systems and tools.
  • Support system modernization, continuous process improvement, and technology enhancement initiatives.
  • Participate in planning meetings, working groups, and project teams to support mission requirements.
  • Maintain an active Secret security clearance and comply with all security requirements associated with the position.
  • Perform additional web development and information management duties as directed by ARCENT leadership.
