Description
As an engineer on our team, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, collaborating closely with a passionate team to achieve a shared mission. You'll be instrumental in developing exciting new features, and your contributions will directly impact millions of users. We embrace continuous iteration and improvement, so you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and refine your skills as we build the future of Find My.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of validated programming experience
Ability to be in office Monday through Thursday
Strong Java expertise - including but not limited to: Core Java, Multithreading, non-blocking IO
Shown working experience in all aspects of building customer facing Web services; most importantly authentication, authorization, scaling, availability, spam control and reliability
Strong knowledge of using data storage and caching technologies like Cassandra, Redis and memcached or similar
Strong in Java Performance Tuning, scaling Web Services and API definition
Working knowledge of cryptography standards and protocols (e.g.. PKCS, KMIP, X.509, AES, KDF, CA)
Experience writing REST based services using Netty or similar frameworks
Knowledge and experience working with CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation testing
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a multi-functional team on high-profile, critical projects
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of web programming languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Familiarity with developing machine learning systems, ML frameworks, libraries and algorithms is desirable but not required.
Familiarity with GitHub, build and deployment tools like Maven, Docker, Spinnaker, Kubernetes
