Job description

Inserso is seeking a candidate to join our team to provide mission-critical Data and Software Development support to our federal customers. The Sr Software Developer will create, sustain, and upgrade the ARCNet web application. The position requires knowledge of full stack development, testing and implementation. The position will be on-site at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain the ARCNet web application, ensuring high performance and security.
Design, develop and maintain SQL Server databases, SQL Server Objects, Report Services and Integration Services packages.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into well-defined specifications. Interface with the ARCNet help desk to resolve issues as they arise. Import data from legacy systems, ensuring data quality and consistency. Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development practices, automation, and data processing capabilities.
Actively participate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Troubleshoot production and non-production issues by reviewing and analyzing logs, metrics and code.
Solve complex technical problems with innovative solutions. Required Skills/Experience:
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT-related discipline or equivalent experience.
Possess an active Secret Clearance. 5+ years of experience in software development using Visual Studio, with a focus on .NET and ADO.NET entity framework technologies.
Strong understanding of architectural patterns, design principles, and best practices.
Experience in the following languages: C#, VB.Net and Classic ASP.
Understanding of presentation layer technologies such as ASP.NET, MVC 4, Razor, Bootstrap, JQuery, CSS, HTML and Telerik Kendo ASP.NET MVC web components.
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services, Integration Services including SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, views, schema design, and performance optimization.
Understanding of WCF and REST to provide internal and external services. Develop unit tests using the Arrange, Act, Assert test pattern to Moq the application.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Physical and/or Mental Qualifications:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
