Job description

Quantum Sky is searching for a Web Developer and Designer to support a Government Program Management Office in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with full stack design, development, and maintenance of websites, applications, and workflow tools for various business, inventory, change, programmatic, and financial management tracking systems.
  • Develop and implement well designed, testable, back-end programming to provide intuitive data-driven vidualization interfaces on the front-end.
  • Continuously evaluate existing applications alignment with stakeholder requirements and performance, optimization, resilience, and security risks. Identify problem areas, recommend solutions, and implement changes as directed.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize web pages and applications for security and responsiveness via testing, evaluation, and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Implement various database entry and retrieval functions for multiple users.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry best practices to recommend innovative designs, trends, and methodologies into websites and applications.
  • Assist with development, review, and preparation of briefing materials, reports, and other project documentation. Coordinate responses to periodic reports.
  • Provide input to department strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of relevant web development and application experience.
  • At least one Web Developer or related certification, such as CWP, CSDP, MCAD, MCPD, MCSA Web Applications, MCSD SharePoint Applications, MCSE SharePoint, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS SharePoint, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST, and JSON.
  • Extensive knowledge of the MS Power Platform (Power Automate & Power Apps/Power Fx) with working knowledge and/or familiarity with Power BI to automate workflows, analyze data, and create AI agents.
  • Experience in protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing cybersecurity measures to actively mitigate vulnerabilities, prevent unauthorized access, and protect the digital infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and oral); able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates through multiple means.

Desired:

  • Familiarity with DOD and/or U.S. Navy organizations and functional missions.
  • Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) Intermediate Level knowledge/skills (IAT Level II), with specific course completion or renewal certificate.
  • Understanding of Inventory Management and/or Financial Management software.

Compensation:

  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $130,000-$150,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
