Job description

General Description
Under the direct supervision of the Commerce Project Manager, Contractor will assist Commerce by providing the expertise necessary through IT Staff Augmentation Services for one (1) Internet/Web Engineer (Web Developer) in accordance with the tasks outlined below.
Minimally Required Deliverables/Tasks
Contractor and/or Contractor's staff will assist Commerce with the following hourly IT Staff Augmentation Services, also known as non-project-oriented IT personnel resources:
Internet/Web Engineer (Web Developer) (Job #2620)
Develop, rebuild, test, and maintain responsive/dynamic websites and web applications;
Collaborate with senior leadership, designers, project managers, and other developers to meet project goals and deadlines;
Ensure website performance, accessibility and Search Engine Option (SEO) best practices;
Debug issues and provide timely solutions;
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Stay current with emerging web technologies and trends.
Staff Qualifications and Performance Criteria
Contractor shall possess the professional and technical staff necessary to perform the IT Staff Augmentation Services required by this Contract, and the staff shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the services assigned to them.
Internet/Web Engineer (Web Developer) (Job #2620)
Contractor and/or Contractor's Staff assigned to this Contract shall have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
Intermediate professional level role with proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role; strong understanding and practical experience of .NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, or .NET Core for Sitefinity development;
Intermediate professional level with experience in developing and customizing websites using Sitefinity CMS, including creating custom modules, widgets, and templates;
Knowledge of MS SQL Server;
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript;
Understanding of responsive and adaptive design;
Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
Preferred Qualifications:
Sitefinity development experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
