Java Application Developer

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Java Application Developer for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX.

Java Application Developer Job Details

Backend and Frontend Web developer to develop client code to enhance monitoring feature.
Responsible for building web interface that will be user experience driven and easy to use.
Own responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of significant subsystems within monitoring application, including participation in the definition of requirements, driving prototyping and/or design analysis, code development, testing and deployment.

Qualifications

Java Application Developer Mandatory Skills

MUST have deep Perl & PowerShell expertise.
Fluency with Linux administration.
Familiarity with Internet protocols including SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, FTP, SSL, NFS, XML, and CSS.
Familiarity and expertise with JavaScript, Ajax, Java, Struts, PHP, SQL, SOAP, Postfix and/or Send Mail.
Development of Client code using Java API, REST API can be differentiator.
Strong troubleshooting skills
Engineering graduate with software development and configuration experience of 5 to 6 years minimum at expert level including leading the team or deployment
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and deliver multiple complex projects
Drive the project activities with minimal supervision.
