Providing intelligence, IT, cyber security, training, logistics, administrative, acquisition, and background investigation services.
Summary:
The Nisga'a Group is looking for a Web Developer.
This is a Full-Time temporary position to complete a short-term website project.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Represent and serve mid-level Web Developer
  • Build, update, and maintain responsive websites, custom user interface components, and cross-browser compatible layouts
  • Design basic data models and write SQL scripts to handle backend data storage and schema management (frequently using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server)
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to enable clean communication between internal and external software application components.
  • Write unit and integration tests, debug application defects, and execute continuous integration pipelines.
  • Ensure all deployed code and digital layouts comply with industry standards such as W3C, WCAG, and Section 508 accessibility guidelines
  • Participate in Agile DevSecOps sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and peer code reviews
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine needs, design plans and content.
  • Ensure system meets the requirements of Subchapter II of Chapter 35 of Title 44, United States Code, "Federal Information Security Modernization Act of 2014" (FISMA) and Section 11331 of Title 40, United States Code.
  • Support the RMF Certification and Accreditation team and coordinate directly with all necessary stakeholders.
  • Develop, edit and provide applicable deliverables to all applicable stakeholders.
  • Maintain change and configuration records and documentation by tracking all applicable system requests (including Requests for Change) and system requests for information from initial request to closure.
  • Provide documentation support to include development of technical software documentation and development of non-technical project documentation deliverables.

Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledgeable in change management for both public and private Web applications to include:
    • Windows Server
    • Internet Information Servies (IIS)
    • AJAX
    • JQUERY
    • C#
    • NET
    • .NET
    • net CORE

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of professional web development experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field is standard (equivalent professional experience is sometimes accepted).
  • Experience with government contracting within the US DOD and intelligence communities.
  • Experience in DOD acquisitions
  • Experience in website development and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of database concepts, SQL, and data management principles.
  • Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 (five) years of experience working with complex federal government contracts.
  • Security+ Certification

The salary range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00 per hour.
