A Web Designer Manager is a professional who oversees a team of web designers, ensuring the creation and maintenance of visually appealing, user-friendly websites that meet client or organizational objectives. In addition to leadership duties, they may also contribute to design work and stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies.

How does a web designer manager typically collaborate with cross-functional teams during a website redesign project?

A Web Designer Manager frequently works alongside developers, content strategists, marketing teams, and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive vision for website redesigns. They are responsible for coordinating design efforts, translating business requirements into user-friendly layouts, and overseeing the implementation of visual standards. Overview

At KPMG in Canada, our people bring their unique perspectives to Canadaโ€™s most important challenges. Here, you can build momentum that reaches beyond our business, develop skills for the future, and take ownership of your career with support at every stage. Join a firm where your career can make a difference.

Your work matters. As part of our Audit & Assurance practice, youโ€™ll deliver highquality work that supports trust, transparency, and confidence across both public and private organizations. We foster an environment of high challenge, where curiosity and critical thinking are encouraged.ย  Through high support, including progressive learning, ย strong coaching, inclusive teamwork, and a shared commitment to integrity, we perform at our best โ€“ measuring what matters, recognizing impact, and continuously evolving to deliver excellence.ย  This creates a culture where the best work happens when high challenge and high support work together.ย  That balance is how our values show upโ€”in how we work, how we lead, and what we deliver.

KPMGโ€™s Business School (KBS) Audit is committed to building the Audit professionalsโ€™ knowledge and skills to maintain and uphold audit quality in client work. Towards this end, the KBS supports their professional development through development and delivery of high quality, interactive web-based and instructor-led training.ย  We are currently looking for an eager Learning Designer to join our team with a strong opportunity for further career development in the future to support the development of web-based learning.ย

  • Manage the development of courses, ensuring timelines are met and resources are appropriately utilized.
  • Develop and maintain training related forms, job aids and materials.
  • Engage with clients and Subject Matter Experts and other stakeholders to ensure content and delivery align with business goals and learner needs.
  • Test effectiveness of courses on the learning management system and document findings.
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders.
  • Serve as a technical resource for programs that are internally developed and presented.

At times, business needs arise and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal work day or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. Likewise, people need extra time to devote to personal matters, and our approach to flexibility provides for this.

What you bring to the role
  • Post-secondary Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience in Instructional Design and Adult learning.
  • 5+ years proven working experience ย as an instructional designerย for web-based and instructor-led training.
