Job Description

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Work alongside HP PageWide Web Press design engineers to document and implement hardware designs using standard HP business processes and tools. Use of Windchill, HP's product data management (PDM) system will be a core aspect of the position.
Develop competence in use of Windchill for part and BOM management and serve as a resource for engineers
Assist engineers by ordering, classifying, shipping, receiving, and tracking parts
Assist engineers by facilitating changes through the change management process
Load as-built BOMs from manufacturing partners into Windchill and reconcile against engineering BOMs
Assist engineers by classifying "standard parts" in Windchill (fasteners, fittings, etc.) to enable attribute searches and parts reuse

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:
AA/AS Degree in Business or Technical area or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
o May include highly experienced individuals performing equivalent work who are non-degreed or degreed in an unrelated field or equivalent vocational or military training.
Highly organized with attention to detail
Experience working with BOMs and other design documentation
Experience working in a fast-paced R&D environment with continuous changes
Computer skills in basic programs (MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.)
Excellent time management
Ability to communicate to various levels of engineering and management
Creative problem-solving skills
