Job description

Reedsport School District seeks qualified applicants to design the Summer School program for Reedsport School District. This stipend position plays a central role in ensuring a high-quality, grant-aligned summer learning experience for students.
INTERNAL ONLY
Stipend: $1,000




Duties: This is not an exhaustive or all-inclusive list of responsibilities, skills, duties or functions associated with the job.

  • Assist in recruiting and confirming summer school instructional and support staff
  • Coordinate with the district food service director to ensure daily meal service for enrolled students
  • Coordinate transportation logistics in collaboration with the district transportation department
  • Design and prepare standards-aligned daily lessons for elementary students
  • Integrate hands-on, exploratory learning experiences appropriate for elementary students

Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon teaching license
  • Experience with elementary education
  • Familiarity with ODE academic standards across all content areas
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
