What will you do? Â Â
- Partner with business and marketing to Implement detailed customer applicationsÂ
- Build microservice applications using best practicesÂ
- Write high-quality, scalable, reusable and fault-tolerant codeÂ
- Write automated unit tests and perform API validationsÂ
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizationsÂ
- Collaborate with Solution Architect and define API schema Â
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with APIsÂ
- Collaborate with Product Owners to gather business requirement and groom user storiesÂ
- Participate in application lifecycle events (e.g. Feature Launches, Releases, Deployment Windows)Â
- Contribute and maintain high quality technical documentationÂ
- Actively participate in scrum/agile ceremoniesÂ
- Gather and document requirements for development and deliveryÂ
- Contribute code to improve and implement new and existing featuresÂ
- Perform peer code reviewsÂ
- Communicate with business and various other departments.
What are we looking for?Â

- Experience in Java Spring Boot and RESTful Microservices developmentÂ
- Experience in working with one of the concurrency frameworks like Mono, FluxÂ
- Strong relational database experience in either Oracle, MS SQL, or PostgresÂ
- Experience with Automated Testing and tools such as JUnitÂ
- Experience in using tools like Jira, GitLab, Swagger, Postman, SOAP UIÂ
- Experience using Logging framework and understanding of monitoring tools like Kibana, ELK, DynatraceÂ
- Strong understanding of Data Structures, Design patterns and asynchronous programming
- 6+ years of software development experience.Â
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum / Iterative development methodologiesÂ
- Experience working in ORM frameworks like Entity, Hibernate, DapperÂ
- Knowledge of API authentication using oAuthÂ
- Knowledge of queuing or streaming engines like KafkaÂ
- Knowledge of Docker, GIT, SonarQube and other deployment tools for CI/CD
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 33,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 118,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.

This position is also available for independent contractors
