We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Web Data Analyst to drive insights across our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert on customer behavior analyzing how users discover, engage with, and purchase across our digital platforms. You will translate complex behavioral and transactional data into actionable insights that enhance user experience and optimize performance for a sophisticated customer base that includes designers, trade professionals, and end consumers.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role partnering closely with E-Commerce, Marketing, Product, and Technology teams, operating within a modern digital stack including Bloomreach Discovery, Adobe Commerce, GA4, and enterprise BI platforms.
Job Title: Web Data Analyst (MidSenior Level)
Location- Houston, TX ( Hybrid )
Key Responsibilities:

  • Web Analytics & Performance Ownership
  • Own end-to-end web analytics governance, tracking accuracy, and KPI reporting.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics including Conversion Rate (CVR), Average Order Value (AOV), revenue performance, funnel drop-offs, and session quality.
  • Identify trends, diagnose performance shifts, and deliver executive-ready insights with clear business narratives.
  • Partner with Product and E-Commerce teams to design, measure, and interpret A/B tests and personalization initiatives.
  • Quantify impact of digital enhancements and recommend data-driven optimizations.
  • Manage GA4 implementation, governance, and event tracking strategy.
  • Oversee Google Tag Manager (GTM) operations including:
    • Updating triggers and variables
    • Publishing across environments
    • Deploying and editing marketing pixels
    • Implementing analytics and marketing tracking solutions
    • Ensure tracking accuracy across marketing and product initiatives.
    • Data Engineering & Platform Support
  • Support GA4 to BigQuery exports including monitoring data transfers and basic SQL troubleshooting.
  • Maintain clean dataset organization and assist in resolving data discrepancies.
  • Configure and maintain analytics and marketing tools including:
  • Customer & Segment Analysis
  • Develop deep insights into distinct customer segments (trade professionals, designers, homeowners).
  • Analyze site search behavior, personalization performance, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Create and upload customer audience lists to paid media platforms.
Required Qualifications
  • 46 years of experience in web or digital analytics, preferably in premium e-commerce or multi-channel retail.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL.
  • Hands-on expertise with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI.
  • Working knowledge of A/B testing platforms.
  • Experience managing GA4BigQuery integrations.
  • Strong understanding of tag governance and marketing pixel deployment
