A financial services organization in Vienna, Virginia, is seeking a Web Content & SEO Specialist for a hybrid contract opportunity. This role supports enterprise web content optimization by improving site health, enhancing discoverability, and maintaining high-quality digital experiences across web properties.


About the Opportunity:




  • Schedule: Monday to Friday




  • Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (EST)




  • Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)




Responsibilities:




  • Update and modernize existing web articles using current web components and content standards




  • Remap legacy content to updated taxonomy and tagging structures




  • Identify and implement internal linking opportunities to improve SEO and content discoverability




  • Monitor website quality by identifying broken links, 404 errors, and redirect needs




  • Review newly published content for SEO, accessibility, metadata, semantic markup, usability, and governance standards




  • Perform other duties, as needed




Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience




  • Experience editing and publishing web content using a content management system




  • Strong experience with Adobe Experience Manager




  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web markup




  • Experience performing on-page and technical SEO optimization




  • Experience using Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to evaluate content performance




  • Knowledge of digital usability, accessibility, and web content best practices




  • Experience supporting content governance and maintaining high-traffic websites




  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
