POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual Digital Content Specialist to support a variety of website and digital content initiatives. This position reports to the Web Manager and assists with content updates, website maintenance, CMS management, quality assurance testing, and project coordination across multiple digital platforms.


The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, basic website knowledge, and an interest in digital content management. Experience with content management systems such as Makeswift, WordPress, or similar platforms is preferred. This role will assist with website updates, content publishing, image optimization, quality assurance (QA) testing, and digital project support in a fast-paced global environment.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities for this role.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update and maintain website content using Makeswift and other content management systems.
  • Ensure content accuracy, consistency, proper formatting, spelling, and grammar.
  • Optimize images and digital assets for website performance and usability.
  • Assist with website quality assurance testing across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Verify links, forms, promotions, and page functionality prior to publication.
  • Support the execution of web content and digital marketing projects.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to gather content and complete assigned tasks.
  • Identify and report website issues, content errors, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with routine website audits and maintenance activities.
  • Assist with website launches, promotions, and content deployments that may occasionally occur outside standard business hours to support global markets.
  • Monitor website content to ensure compliance with brand standards and user experience best practices.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous internship, freelance, academic, or professional experience working with websites or digital content is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (Makeswift, WordPress, Sanity, or similar platforms) is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of how websites function, including navigation, page layouts, and responsive design.
  • Basic knowledge of image optimization for web use, including resizing, compressing, and preparing images for website publishing.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and proofreading.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Exposure to HTML and CSS is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles is a plus.
  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus, particularly in support of LifeWave's global business operations.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings, nights, or outside standard business hours to support international website launches, promotions, and global business operations.


Work Environment & Physical Demands

LifeWave will operate as an in-office organization, and all employees are required to work onsite in alignment with corporate policy. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work at a computer workstation and be mobile within the office. Occasional movement of up to 25 pounds may be required.
