Job Summary:
Sumaria Systems, LLC is a Full Lifecycle Engineering and Technical Services company supporting the Warfighter. This role involves providing system administration and engineering solutions for Big-IP F5 load balancing systems, ensuring network availability and security for the Department of Defense's Information Network.
Responsibilities:
• Manage application integration designs around application logic and authentication configuration (session management, application redirects, rewrites, migration scenarios, app routing, CAC/PIV authentication).
• Support, troubleshoot, and configure SSL intercept/inspection, web certificates, certificate management, PKI Certificate Authority (CA) bundles, private/public keys.
• Install, configure, and administer Big IP F5 Platform Suite referencing Web Applications with Local Traffic Manager (LTM) and Access Policy Manger (APM) services.
• Install and patch Big IP F5 systems, and document DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) checklists.
• Design and administrator load balancing strategies/ techniques, in application switching / traffic management, knowledge of persistence, and SSL certificates.
• Create and maintain documentation detailing architecture components, configurations, monitoring & alerting setup, troubleshooting guides, and checklists.
• Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves.
• Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
• Support the development, testing, and implementation of solutions and best practice methodologies that enable the prioritization of uptime by implementing failover and high availability configurations with two-person integrity (TPI) ensuring maximum amount of uninterrupted network operations.
• Support the essential tasks, Situational Awareness (SA), and Command and Control (C2) that comprise the operational framework that comprises NetOps.
• Support the following essential NetOps tasks: DoDIN Enterprise Management (EM), DoDIN Network Defense (DoDNetD), and DoDIN Web Content Management.
• Other system administration related tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Security+ or DoDD 8140 IAT-II equivalent and one of the following certifications: F5 Certified Technology Specialist (F5-CTS) – Local Traffic Manager (LTM) or F5-CTS- Access Policy Manager (APM) or F5 BIG-IP Certified Administrator.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Big IP F5 products performing systems administration, of all Big-IP F5 Manage application integration designs around application logic and authentication configuration (session management, application redirects, rewrites, migration scenarios, app routing, CAC/PIV authentication).
• Secret Security Clearance.
