Work schedule will be Full-time on the Day Shift, Monday -Friday.
Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the Children's of Alabama external website. Implements a customer-based, user-centered approach while using software to coordinate layout and graphical components of sites. The Web Developer is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, accuracy, and functionality of the public facing website childrensal.org. This role ensures the external website is consistently maintained, technically sound, and content is accurate to support patients and community experience externally.

  • Bachelor's required in marketing, web design or communications related field required

Experience:
  • 3 or more years of experience in web content management, digital communications, or a related field required

Skills:
  • Proficiency with a CMS platform; healthcare or hospital CMS experience a plus
  • Basic HTML/CSS proficiency for CMS-level edits
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to catch errors in content, links, and formatting
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
  • Ability to manage multiple update requests and competing priorities across departments
